Part II defines four heresies, three of which are discussed here:
1)"Ignorance the first heresy," overwhelmingly provides the key that "Rings of Power" was doomed. For "they who proclaim to loveth Tolkien, yet understandeth, not his world view can neither hope to create a new film, show, or series of his secondary world."
2) "Schism the second heresy," provides no doubt that "The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power" is independent of Tolkien and his world's Orthodoxy. ROP transforms a brilliant work of singular vision into a polyglot of post-modernism that blatantly contradicts the reason Tolkien wrote his treasured tales.
3) "Contempt the third heresy," of The Rings of Power show-runners is obvious, but what is unfortunate is the effort taken at great lengths to avoid purposefully the simple path of Orthodoxy (right opinion of the author). Instead, they intensely labor night and day to shun the wisdom and word of Tolkien. Rather than desiring to respect Tolkien's laws, Payne and McKay yearn to be the 'lord and god' of their own "private sub-creation," rather than safeguarding Professor Tolkien's sacred secondary world of Middle Earth.
